500 Pieces from the Wood Fired Kiln: An Exhibition by Barry Tate

From kiln to salon

98 Gipps St, Port Fairy

THIS IS PRETTY SPESH. Join us for an extraordinary afternoon in the Drifthouse Salon. ‘500 new works…’ might be an exaggeration, but it’s also a match made in heaven: Barry Tate reveals 500 newly fired works (or there abouts) before months of upcoming exhibitions in Brisbane, Sydney and Japan. These beautiful, small-scale domestic works are so at home in Drifthouse’s Salon, a hidden sanctuary/breakfast room/afternoon bar available only to guests of Drifthouse - that Leeroy still can’t believe. Barry is to ceramics in the south west as Drifthouse is to luxury. We’re so excited. This is the moment.
