17th Annual Dachshund Dash

You bring the mighty racers and we’ll prepare the field
for the crowds and the cuteness.
For the speedy and the silly.
For the magic and the mayhem.

Gates open at 12.30pm.
At 2.00pm, we race.

EVENT DETAILS

Sunday 8 June, from 2pm
Location: Port Fairy Football Oval, entry off Griffiths St
Check in for racers opens at 12:30pm.
Heats and races start at 2pm.
If driving, enter off Griffiths St. There is plenty of parking around the oval.
If walking, enjoy a 20 minute stroll from town over the bridge and through the gardens.
Entry is gold coin donation.
There is grandstand seating and area for accessibility access. Please come early if you hope to grab a seat.
Food and drink trucks on site.
Registrations closed on June 1 and late registrations are not accepted, sorry.
The event is capped at 100 dogs across three age categories: Under 2 Years, Over 2 Years or Veterans (8+ years).
Two dog handlers must accompany each dog - one at the start line to hold your dog and one at the finish line to catch your dog.
