Sunday school is back! Cleanse your palate, dig out your favourite apron and get ready to get hands on in this cooking workshop. Join legendary chef Cat Clarke from Dimboola/Wotjobaluk country and learn how to whip up an irresistible bush foods stir fry that’s sure to impress your guests, and you! Also learn the secrets to making mouth-watering damper. BYO apron and containers to take home all your delicious goodies.
Chef and teacher Cat Clarke boasts over two decades of experience as a skilled chef. With a passion for utilizing seasonal produce and highlighting local bush foods, Cat crafts menus that celebrate the richness of the region. As an educator, she imparts her culinary expertise to aspiring cookery students, guiding them on a journey into the world of food. Cat firmly believes in the transformative power of cooking, viewing it as a source of confidence, resilience, and creativity. Beyond nourishing the body, she sees food as a form of medicine that has the ability to foster relationships, share stories, and bring people together.
Two hands-on sessions will run for:
Youth aged 12-18 years, from 10.30-12pm (free)
Adults aged 18+, from 3-5pm ($25)
Places are limited and bookings essential.
